A responsible company

As a family business on a human scale, Génia‘s DNA and values have always incorporated a commitment to ethics, respect and kindness, and these are reflected in the way we behave every day, and our long-term actions which aim to have a positive impact on society.
In 2020, Génia undertook a strategic review of its social responsibility, and analysed what its stakeholders expected of us by defining a new strategy that addresses its main economic, social and environmental challenges.

Génia was supported in this process by AFNOR, and it obtained the Engage RSE Label in October 2022, to be confirmed in April 2024.

Our CSR commitments

5 Pillars – 20 Commitments

Génia’s Ethical Charter

This ethical charter was designed to be a tool for our employees. It defines the standards of ethical behaviour that are expected of everyone working with Génia. It specifies Génia’s commitments to its stakeholders, in particular its customers, suppliers and employees.

Responsible Purchasing Charter

This charter formalises the approach that we wish to take in collaboration with our suppliers and partners. It clarifies our expectations and specifies the commitments we make throughout the purchasing and supply chain. Our hope is that our employees and business partners can take ownership of this approach as part of a shared desire for improvement. Responsible purchasing meets a need by incorporating a social and environmental aspect alongside financial considerations.

Equality between women and men

Génia is committed to promoting professional and salary equality, and reaffirms its commitment to respecting the principle of non-discrimination between women and men. We believe that job diversity at every level leads to mutual benefits, social balance and financial efficiency. Génia is committed to implementing concrete actions in this area, in order to:

  • Improve professional equality in recruitment,
  • Ensure equality in professional development for women and men,
  • Guarantee equal pay for women and men,
  • Develop actions to promote a better balance between professional and personal life and family life.

The right to disconnect from work

The development of digital tools and constantly growing access to them mean that it is important to reaffirm the need to use IT tools correctly, in order to guarantee respect for rest and holidays, as well as personal and family life and, more broadly, as a way of protecting employee health. Here, Génia has put in place an agreement undertaking to respect and promote good practice that aims to safeguard the rights of employees to digitally disconnect from their work.

Customer satisfaction

Customer satisfaction is our primary goal and at the heart of all our efforts. We are committed to delivering quality products on time, and ensuring that they meet expectations and live up to our promises. We do everything possible to ensure that our work is carried out in compliance with current regulations and standards. Every year, we assess customer satisfaction levels via a satisfaction survey. In 2023, 92% of our customers were satisfied or very satisfied with our overall quality of service.

Sponsorship & Donations

Génia supports associations and organisations working for the education, health and well-being of all, humans and animals alike.
